Sber. Business conference

Sber Conference is an annual business event for the professional community focused on current business processes and technologies. In 2024, the spotlight was on presentations by five key speakers. Sber approached us to create a unique environment for each speaker—a visual world reflecting their presentation theme.
Our task extended beyond creating stylized backgrounds to building entire microuniverses where viewers could sense the connection between business, technology, and humanity.
Human touch: the harmony of humans and digital environment
Despite abundant 3D graphics, maintaining a sense of humanity was crucial. To make visuals more relatable, we integrated photos and video materials—authentic images of people interacting with digital worlds.
We sought harmony not only in color and textures but also in movement: camera dynamics, animation rhythm, and light accents were arranged to synchronize characters with their digital environment.
Elements: five worlds for five speakers
Each speaker was assigned a visual metaphor based on a classical element. Earth represented strength, stability, and growth. Fire embodied energy, transformation, and movement. Water conveyed flexibility, fluidity, and adaptability. Air suggested lightness, freedom, and changeability. Space expressed scale, innovation, and the boundaries of imagination.
Cross-cutting animation logic
To maintain visual language integrity across all five worlds, we developed a unified animation principle. Each scene progressed through four stages—this approach created a rhythmic and coherent narrative while preserving the individuality of each elemental world.
The stages included: Origin—formation of images from abstract structures; Becoming—transition to more ordered forms; Detailing—emphasis on textures and materials in close-up; and Camera Flight—revealing the scale and atmosphere of each world.
